The Detroit Lions announced Saturday the firings of head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn. While Lions fans were, understandably, pleased with the news, so were players who formerly played for Patricia.
Darius Slay, who never got along with Patricia and was ultimately traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, responded to the news of his firing, and he couldn't help but laugh.

Slay revealed that he lost all respect for the former New England Patriots defensive coordinator in 2018 when he told him he wasn't "elite." The 29-year-old also said in an interview with ESPN in March that Patricia had no respect for him.
Former Lions safety Glover Quin also had issues with Patricia. In April, Quin bashed the 46-year-old for being "arrogant," among other things.
Seeing as how both Slay and Quin still have jobs in the NFL, they certainly had the last laugh over Patricia, who now is unemployed.
